AI just got bought hard after last week’s dump.
$QQQ +1.2% to 718, $SPY barely green 767, Dow flat. Pure chip bounce — $NVDA, $MU, $WDC leading.
Oil easing helped, but 10Y still stuck near 5.1%. Rate pressure ain’t gone.
Contrarian: $NVDA looks juicy today, but if Meta/Tesla capex talk softens this week this rally dies quick.
Lesson: violent rebounds feel great till they don’t — size small.
Real money or just short covering into earnings?
@SuperLuckeee Solid reminder that for small accounts the best $SPX edge is often end-of-day when premiums are tight and a small move can still deliver serious percentage returns.
@UdiTradeThePool@TradeThePool@The5ersFutures $TSLA at 180x forward earnings is pricing in an AI monopoly while still making 75% of its money selling cars in a price war — the market might be missing the difference between a story and a business.
@KyleReidhead A SpaceX-$TSLA merger sounds great on paper until you realize one side is still burning cash like it’s 2021 and the other is already pricing in every synergy twice.
@merlin_trader $EPRX is back on the radar with the RESOLVE data, but biotech catalysts have a habit of looking clean on the chart until the actual readout hits.
@BullTheoryio Banks are quietly bleeding while the rest of the market parties — and rising yields are still stuffing more unrealized losses into their books.
@Mr_Derivatives Zero weakness at the index level sounds great until you realize the entire boat is being carried by seven names that already look exhausted.
@TheProfInvestor Black Monday cancelled, bears smoked, cash still in the parking lot.
Prof’s playing it right. One green day doesn’t magically heal last week’s damage. Until QQQ reclaims 728 and SPY tags 774, this is just a bounce with better lighting.
Monday Watchlist Recap — Oct 19
Markets bounced hard after last week’s AI/chip dump. Nasdaq led, semis ripped, risk-on is back. Here’s how the Monday list played out:
✅ $EPRX +4% — Clean reclaim of $6.88 on the UEG clinical data drop. Holding the level, eyes on $7.00–$7.20. Invalidates under $6.55.
✅ $EIKN +5% — Cleared $7.76 on ESMO anticipation. Looking toward $7.95–$8.20. Stops under $7.18. Volume confirming.
✅ $SMBK -1% — Stuck near $50. Earnings reaction still settling. Holding support so far. Need reclaim of $51.70 for the $52.50–$53 run. Lose $50 and it’s done.
❌ $BBAI -3% — Lagging hard. Testing/breaking $2.14 despite the AI contract news and broader bounce. No reclaim of $2.33. Setup fails under support.
✅ $FABC +7% — Quiet winner. Pushing the $2.30 reclaim ahead of tomorrow’s AI infra panel. Soft catalyst — only works if volume stays elevated. Under $2.17 and I’m out.
Rules still the same: Stops under support. No chasing resistance. Goal is green, not greed.

$6.55 support, reclaim $6.88, potential $7.00/$7.20.

RBC’s $3.74T combined valuation for SpaceX + Tesla implies roughly $480 on $TSLA . The number is high, but it only works if two things hold at the same time: Starlink cash flow continues to scale, and Tesla’s autonomy + energy businesses start contributing more meaningfully.
Right now the market is still pricing them mostly separately. That’s the gap.
Key logic on $TSLA:
Core auto demand and margins still matter more than the headline
Any real non-auto progress (FSD, energy, robotaxi) can support a higher multiple
Without execution, the SpaceX story stays theoretical for public shareholders
What I’m watching:
Whether $TSLA can hold recent support while the broader AI/tech narrative stays intact
Delivery and margin trends versus the autonomy timeline
How much of the private SpaceX valuation actually gets reflected in $TSLA’s multiple
The setup is interesting, but it’s still more of a “prove it” trade than a clean fundamental + technical resonance. I’m not chasing the valuation alone.
$NVDA setup right now
This is the move I’ve been watching.
AI demand is still the main driver, but the stock has pulled back from the recent highs. Most people are either chasing strength or waiting for a deeper dip.
I’m looking at the zone where fundamentals and technicals can start lining up again.
Key logic:
Data center growth remains the core story
Margins are still strong even with competition noise
The recent pullback has taken some of the heat off the valuation
Path I’m watching:$218 → $205–$210 → $235+
If it holds the $205–$210 area and buyers show up with volume, the next push higher becomes more realistic.
Not every AI name is clean here. $NVDA is still the one that matters most if the setup confirms.
Save this. We’ll see how it plays out.
$NVDA, $AMD, $MU, $AVGO, and $INTC are all green. Looks like classic dip-buying with yields and oil easing a bit, plus JPM upgrading $INTC. Not sure if it’s the real turn yet ,but the charts look way better than Friday.

Most of these are still just bouncing inside the same range they’ve been stuck in since Q2.
$ARM and $NBIS look a bit cleaner on relative strength, but $DELL, $INTC and $MRVL still need real volume to prove buyers actually care. Not chasing the whole list here.

Growth names coming back into long-term demand zones that have held since Q2 2026.
These are areas where I’m paying closer attention. Watching how price reacts, whether buyers step in with volume, and which names show relative strength.
Support gives us a level to work with. The reaction tells us whether there’s a trade.
Still interested in building long-term positions in quality companies, but leaving room to add. No need to buy everything at once or predict the bottom.
