I've had the pleasure of joining the @CQRRHUL @RHULGeography MSc field course to Scotland this week. So far explored the dramatic scenery of Glencoe, Rannoch Moor, Loch Linnhe, and Loch Etive - with fantastic weather!

Delighted and honoured to have received the Bill Watts Award from @Quaternary_Irl this evening! This award will fund radiocarbon dates @14_chrono from one of our study sites to help refine the timing of deglaciation in northeast Ireland - a big part of my PhD project!

382 days of commuting (and some fieldtripping) for my PhD summarised in three pie charts. Hard to be green when 85% of CO2 emissions come from my car but fuel is 40% cheaper than the greener alternative (trains) and way cheaper than moving closer to uni 🫤
