As a kid I looked so forward to harvest time...and now I work at a grain elevator.

The communications major in me cringes when I see “1st Annual” on anything.
...
Inaugural
Second Annual
Third Annual
etc.

Raise your hand if working with truck drivers is both one of the hardest and one of the best parts of your job

@drich82 @AndyJamie_Smith Where is the .67 coming from if you don’t mind me asking? I work at a local grain elevator and trying to have real scenarios to communicate with producers. We were working off of the 32 cents for corn and 45 cents for beans.
Thank you!

Farm equipment is wide, sometimes taking up most of the roadway. Exercise caution when passing. #Plant2020

Was so exited to win this adorable puzzle from @AFBFYFR @FarmBureau Foundation Auction! With a sweet note to boot!
Can’t wait to give it to my best friend’s littles!

Having the MOST fun preparing to be a craft vendor at a local cattle show 😍
Cattle Showing taught me so much and being around these young men & women & their families is kind of the greatest!
Plus, 10% of sales go back to the FFA chapter hosting the event!

-If you hear a deer stepping on leaves, it’s ALWAYS a grey squirrel.
-You will continuously smell doe urine on your hand until you scrub with Dawn dish soap.
-Squirrels are not “cute.”

Got to tail cattle at our county fair, won my first trophy ever, & for my favorite “old-timey” skill no less, probed a truck at work only for a baby raccoon to crawl out of the truck & up the probe, & supported our 4-Hers at the annual auction #CountYourBlessingsNotYourBurdens
