Menno is de eerste van de gezenderde grauwe kiekendieven in Marokko! Hij maakt daar nu, na een reis van ruim 2300 km, al een paar dagen een stopover in hetzelfde gebied als hij daarvoor gebruikte tijdens zijn zuidwaartse reis in het najaar.

Bruine kiekendief Peter vloog rechtstreeks over de Alpen en liet de bergtoppen van 2.5 km hoog achter zich verdwijnen om gisteren al het broedgebied in Duitsland te bereiken! Ook drie andere individuen hebben inmiddels het vaste land van Europa bereikt.
