With the NFL Combine now finished, here's a recap of all the work I did while at the event.

My mind cannot even comprehend a world where Aaron Donald comes out of retirement and plays alongside Myles Garrett. Fortunately it doesn’t have to comprehend that.. for now, at least
When is the last time the clear and concise best player in all of football was traded? And I gotta tell you.. Rams paid pennies on the dollar. I still can’t believe this.
This Keon Coleman, Raiders stuff is bonkers. The absolute last thing Las Vegas needs is a wideout who cannot create separation. They have an entire roster full of ‘em.
There’s only 2 steps to reporting information, and Shams directly violated step 2.
1 - Receive the scoop
2 - Don’t report it. As a reporter, it’s paramount to showcase dominance via lack of attention to scoop
Make all the excuses you want, Albert. Shams was just wrong.
Teams and leagues don't get to choose when reporters report news. The idea that @ShamsCharania did wrong by spoiling some great surprise, particularly from other media people, honestly, shows a fundamental lack of understanding for what reporters do.
13-year NBA veteran Jason Collins has died at 47 years old after a battle with Stage 4 glioblastoma. Collins was the first active, openly gay player in NBA history. RIP.
The reason why Fernando Mendoza is, and always has been, a much better prospect than he’s gotten credit for is rather simple—and it’s the same reason why dubbing him “bust-proof” is as close to fair as it can get.
When you look at the NFL quarterbacks who have carved out 10-year careers as backups, the guys who lacked superior physical attributes and therefore made it their mission to make up for that fact by focusing on the mental side of things—from preparation, to fundamentals and mechanics, to executing their assignment, learning all the ins and outs of the playbook, excelling in pattern recognition, and those things—those are the guys who speak the highest of Fernando Mendoza. Those are the guys who can’t help but be impressed with how much Fernando is not only doing right, but understanding and executing greatly at such a young age.
And after soaking that section up is when you can add his physical talents, which played a good part in cementing his first-overall draft status, into the mix. And you really do get a quarterback prospect who’s got all the goods an organization dreams of; just, not the flashy ones. The ones that allow players to carve out successful double-digit year careers without much fail, with the physical attributes worthy of a first-overall draft selection.
This draft class is just different. Every single player in the top-16 was a force to be reckoned with, outside of the 3 QBs drafted after Cam. Even Nick Fairley was quite promising before his heart condition came to light and he had to walk away.
Anyway while we're on the topic of Julio discourse, the crazy thing is he's one of the best football players to ever exist and he still might go 6th overall in his own draft class if you had to do a re-draft today.
