I get it—marketing is key 🔑 to success!
But I don’t need another author recommending a promoter or pitching their own services. ❌🙅‍♂️

There are plenty of promoters, especially on X.
I already work with a few—if I need another, I’ll find them myself, thanks! 🔎💡

It’s totally fine to promote yourself or someone else as a promoter. 💯
But if that’s your main goal, I recommend taking out Ads or post about it specifically. 💰📢

Following authors just to pitch promo services feels Disingenuous to me!

Some might say, “But networking is part of marketing!” True—but networking ≠ unsolicited pitches disguised as friendships. ❌
Real networking is about building relationships, sharing insights, and supporting each other—not sneaky sales pitches.

Some might also say, “But I’m just trying to help!”
I appreciate that—but if I need help, I’ll ask!
I have my own marketing strategies, and if I need a promoter or advice, I’ll find them myself.

Unsolicited referrals often feel more like sales tactics than genuine assistance.

If this offends you, feel free to unfollow—I’ll do the same for those I get a wrong vibe from. ✌🏼
