@countmaculad This whole situation indicates to me as an outsider that the Catholics care more about being under the Pope than whether the Pope is actually Catholic.

@Contradvanian@thaddeusthought Wine "back in the day" was stored as concentrate. It was then diluted with water. When drunk, it typically had between 16-18% APV, though could have been as high as 20% APV. You can enjoy wine without being a drunk. Should you not eat to avoid gluttony?
