I write and edit for @Queerty. Bad tweets are my own.

Chris Gallant on why he’s going to flip a red district… regardless of those photos.. https://t.co/pMe37tyuas

@the_transit_guy LA. It’s central to the vibe

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@LGBTQPete Bernie is immortal. Please don’t say that

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@minc798 Love this. The grocery stores in Logan suck

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

I wrote about Last Ditch closing, and how it’s ultimately a sad story about people who tried to provide for their community—only for that community to cannibalize them. https://t.co/4qZcebZ4NW

Can’t Afford a Home. Can’t Afford a Baby. Can’t Afford Life. This Is 30. https://t.co/lJ3xyqsjSI via @NYTimes

My home county! Half of MSNBC’s viewership lives here. “In this house…” signs are still very much en vogue in Newton!

[ferald gord @ferald_gord]

holy crap lmao

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

What’s stopping you from giving it all up and moving to Woodstock, Illinois?

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@daverubinisdumb Leftist. Class over identity

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@daverubinisdumb How am I conservative?

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

The Golden Life has dark energy. The show is looser & clearly they have more control over production. I think we’re going to see some really nasty sides of them—esp Dorinda. I don’t know what to make of Sonja. They’ve always made insinuations with her & now the 4th wall is down.

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@alexbronzini It’s because they’re all rich psychopaths

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@pasta_nachos I’ve had good experiences with the DMW since moving here. He just seems sooo thirsty. I get that every politician is on some level, but he’s worse than most.

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

I’ll say it: Alexi Giannoulias creeps me out. He’s been building a war chest to run for mayor for years and just seems unctuous. Chicago’s version of Gavin Newsom. They court many of the same kind of billionaire donors.

[Alexi Giannoulias @Giannoulias]

Chicago needs a budget that reflects the priorities of working families, not politics. We must #demandbetter.

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@FoxCapHill There’s just so much crime going on that rich people get away with. People just trying to support themselves shouldn’t be subject to $100+ tickets for minor infractions.

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

Red light cameras are a form of harassment. Obviously, I am not advocating for people to drive dangerously. But mailing honest, hard/working citizens $100+ tickets for going 5 mph over the speed limit or going right on red a shade after the light turns is punitive.

[Ryan Glasspiegel @sportsrapport]

In Chicago they’ll mail you a speeding ticket for driving 36 in a 30

When this technology comes to highways the roads are really going to be gummed up

Enjoy the way we have it while we have it

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

Sniffies is about to get RANCID.

[Polymarket @Polymarket]

BREAKING: Scientists develop technology that allows people to digitally transmit smells across the world, potentially bringing scent to phone calls, video chats, & social media.

[Katie Notopoulos @katienotopoulos]

Obsessed with this guy who finds the most boring average looking men in Boston and then street harasses them (“who let this DADDY outside?!”), and they absolutely LOVE IT and are beaming from the attention. Much to consider here

[Alex Reimer @AlexReimer1]

@fawfulfan Brookline and Newton are great examples of “near suburbs.” Two amazing places to live. I always feel good when I’m in either one of them.
