27 countries. One union. One flag. 🇪🇺
Adopted 41 years ago today by the European Council, the EU flag became the official emblem of what was then the European Communities, and is now the European Union. 💙⭐

World Industrial Design Day - Fincantieri and @MarineInteriors cover the entire shipbuilding supply chain, turning advanced naval engineering into extraordinary living experiences at sea. A unique ecosystem from structure to design.
“The steepest part of the current drop is being engineered elsewhere, in the managed-trade arrangement taking shape between Washington and Beijing. Europe is not a party to it, yet it absorbs many of its costs.”
In Cold War 2.0, if you cannot be a side, you must pick a side.
🇸🇾🇮🇱 Syria is formally condemning Israeli strikes in Quneitra and Daraa as violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and Syrian sovereignty, calling on the UN to intervene and warning the attacks risk broader escalation.
The new Syrian government under al-Sharaa is in a genuinely difficult position here. Too weak to respond militarily, too proud to absorb strikes silently, and trying to establish itself as a legitimate state actor that international institutions will actually listen to.
All while Israel operates in its south like the agreement doesn't exist.

Bogotá Metro Line 1 began train testing through four stations, reaching 90 km/h. Locals cheered as the train sped by—a century of hope now on track. From rail to operation, the metro dream is becoming reality.
Here's what happened in the Daraa countryside:
- On June 27, 2026, an Israeli force invaded the Daraa countryside in southern Syria, advancing as far as the Tal Maghar area near Abidin in the western Daraa countryside. (Syrian TV Al-Ikhbariya, Video 1)
- on June 28, 2026, residents of Abidin blocked the roads leading into the village. (Photo)
- Some local civilians confronted the Israeli invasion into their village, and according to reports, clashes broke out between local armed civilians and the invading Israeli forces. (Video 2)
- The invading force then retreated and deployed drones and fighter jets over the village of Abidin. (Video 3)
I spoke with @MarioNawfal on the FAILURE of the US-Iran MOU:
"If you look at the elements of the MOU, essentially all of them have been broken, but Trump's media spin is that this MOU is the greatest thing since sliced bread."
Israel has just killed 13-year-old Ellen al-Farra after firing a shell into Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.
Ellen was struck in the head by shrapnel and killed.
The Arabic on Ellen’s shirt reads: “Moons, not numbers.”
🇺🇸 Threatening sanctions on every company using Iranian shipping lanes would kneecap the global economy just as much as the target.
Fmr U.S. Navy Intel Officer Malcolm Nance says the White House isn't playing chess, it's not even playing checkers.
"This isn't even the gang that could shoot straight. This is drunk monkeys with machine guns dancing techno."
Someone needs to come back to reason before the world pays the price.

🇮🇷 Iran just hit a Qatari oil tanker with a drone, and it knew exactly which ship to target.
Fmr U.S. Navy Intel Officer Malcolm Nance says Iran has been tracking that vessel for 300 days, waiting for the right moment to send a message.
"They have an outstanding maritime intelligence force that has managed to wither everything America could throw at it."
One drone in a bridge. No casualties. Just a warning shot that could freeze global oil flows.
