reminded me of a college student of mine a few years ago who had worked at an Applebee's for 4.5 years
& was inclined to bury it on her resume!
She had quantitative + qualitative metrics about the work experience that demonstrated high character.

example of an employer where I'd look favorably at a job candidate (for a lot of different roles) who had 3+ years retail work experience -- to have kept the job and kept at it: probably resilient, reliable, problem-solver, polite

Pence line for Vivek next debate?—from Jim Carrey’s story about Tommy Lee Jones saying to him, “I cannot sanction your buffoonery.”
<<zing>>
@DanBackerEsq Nervous rich guy.
I am uncomfortable with the fundraising tactics that got him on the stage. With how slow the DOJ moves, wouldn’t be surprised if they come knocking about it in a few years.
@CrawfordStuff When people blurt such things, I don’t know if thinking they forgot/never knew much about Jim Crow
is kind (benefit of the doubt),
shaming (how ignorant are you),
or naive (they know; tapping animus).
I anticipate zero humility from Vivek Ramaswamy post-debate.
If he were asked and let his guard down about which primary opponent best critiqued him on anything,
I’d take at least something starting,
“You know, @NikkiHaley was right…”
@JimMerrillNH @NikkiHaley I usually enjoy entrepreneurs. He’s one because he had to be; imagine how insufferable in any kind of job interview or work organization where listening and respect are called for.
@NikkiHaley@VivekGRamaswamy If he ever gets any such experience God forbid, and the history of it is written, a pithy book title would be “Dickplomacy”
