@dainserk It is not a rational belief held by rational people. When you define your ideology/identity from opposition to a current system (capitalism) or country (USA) tribalism will lead you to side, sometimes irrationally, with enemies of that system.

@thocpodcast Im a latin NB and i hope latine actually becomes normalized. Neutral language using e instead of o(masc) a(fem) is something i would love . Spanish sucks because everything is gendered. Still, anything is better than the abomination that was latinx.

I say condition because it causes sever adverse effects on the patient (dysphoria). can be treated by bringing the body more in line with female sex characteristics.

@EuphoriTori The wonderful @nominalnaomi gave a good definition that can be very useful i think. Transgender = someone who identifies as something other than AGAB. Transexual = someome undrgoing ay kind of medical transition (from HRT to surgeries).

@clovensun Medical definition of gender dysphoria is very strict. Just having some different internal gender identity isnt enough to be diagnosed. That is what the trans label is for IMO. From those who feel slightly uncomfortable or limited with their AGAB to those with crippling dysphoria

@PunishedKingB @dainserk For example i am Transgender because i identify as non-binary (different from amab). I have gender dysphoria because i am gender-fluid, yet i have no desire to transition physically, that does not mean i am not trans.

@PunishedKingB @dainserk transsexual = someone who tries to transition sex characteristics (hormones, surgery, etc...). Transgender = someone who identifies with a gender different than the one assigned at birth (usually man if penis, woman if vagina). You can be both, either or none.
