These PEOPLE literally have nowhere to go – @ChicoCityof did not come up with a plan to replace cooling centers that can't open due to the pandemic. The closest cooling center is in Oroville, more than 20 miles away.

This is one of eight camps in the east Lindo Channel homeless encampment that begins 20 yards from our #Chico property line. There are used needles, feces, garbage and, perhaps most disturbing given the fire danger, cigarette butts galore.

In Chico toilet paper news, Costco, Walmart, Winco and Raley’s were all out by midday. Costco will get some by Tuesday, Walmart restocks every morning, Raley’s hopes by tomorrow and no answer from Winco. For more info on wiping your ass necessities, call your local store.

Lee and multiple other citizens came out to help direct traffic away from West Sacramento when heavy rains flooded the street.

Road blocks are set up on West Sacramento Avenue as multiple cars are stuck on the side of the road, unable to move. Towing trucks are currently removing some vehicles.
