@TheCriticalDri2 I found it to be arrestingly stupid, and I did not enjoy the film at all. In multiple instances I was dumbfounded as to what was happening because it was so inane. I think this is one of Spielberg's worst films, at least the ones I've seen.
@GeekVibesNation@IMHOReviews1 I knew from the first time I saw the trailer it was going to be bad. As a man, husband, and father, I hate being represented this way, and I can't imagine other men enjoy it either.
Based on this, our senators are actively working in DC around 54% of the time for working business days (excluding the federal holidays). Obviously they come back to their states to work with constituents, but clearly something is broken when we can only confirm their level of work when they're only "in the office" 54% of the time, and aloof the remaining 46% of the time.
There is no legislative agenda being focused on, no opportunity for behavioral changes, only standard, everyday sin that consumes and devours the children of God. Also, this is a local news story, and I absolutely hate how we have turned everything into national news. I'm from Nashville, and I don't need to know things that happen across the country, especially when there is functionally nothing that I can do about it outside of the grace and power of God.
Our timelines are filled with enough evil from mainstream media sources, let alone from a source that is supposed to be run by Christians. Sans the call-out to sin and prayer at the end of the article, this post is indistinguishable from CNN or MSNOW in highlighting evil for clicks.
As Christians we are called to be in the world but not of the world, and this just isn't it, guys.
@Not_the_Bee I get what you're trying to say, but I have a hard time believing in the righteousness of this article when it starts like this. In this instance you guys are profiting from sharing evil. You're getting clicks and ad revenue on your site from sharing the slaughter of children.
@GeekVibesNation@WSJ How much do you wanna bet that Disney buys them to avoid the Dune/Doomsday conflict and to boost their whole "Disney Infinity Vision" venture?
@GeekVibesNation@talkingdamovies The Mandalorian as a SHOW is forgettable. Without the inclusion of Grogu I don't think the show would have survived past season 1 or 2.
@michaelmalice The constant and incessant need for the show to be "relevant" with references to modern day talking points seriously drags everything down.
@Timcast This binary is too simplistic, as neither option is wholly productive. A third option that calls out a mix of both would likely be a better choice. This type of question appears to be either a gotcha or an attempt at engagement farming.
@IAmStransky@JakeBaldino True, and I suppose 50 is equivalent to a 4 or 5 year old human. It's still inane, though, that a species would take that long to fully mature from an evolutionary standpoint.
