At least four people were killed and 50 injured in a barbaric Russian attack on Kyiv civilians.
Residential buildings, offices, and car dealerships were damaged and destroyed.
Putin is increasingly criticized at home for being weak as the Russian military offensive stalls and as Ukrainian midrange drones paralyze Russian logistics to Crimea and the rest of southern Ukraine.
So he delivered fireworks of psychological release to all these Russians who want to see Kyiv burn. At least 11 Ukrainian civilians killed, more still under the rubble.
Near-zero impact on Ukraine’s ability and determination to wage the war, of course.
And yes, the civilian deaths could have been avoided if Raytheon were making more Patriot interceptors and if Trump were willing to sell more of them to Ukraine. Or if MBDA and Thales weren’t still making SAMP-T missiles in homeopathic doses, on year five of the war.
At least 12 people have been killed and 111 injured as a result of overnight attacks on Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk & Kharkiv regions. In Kyiv, 4 people were killed, while in Dnipro the death toll has already risen to 8, including a child born in 2023. In Kharkiv, a combined attack involving 15 drones & 2 missiles injured 10 people, including a child. Civilian infrastructure suffered the most damage: residential high-rises, medical & educational institutions, industrial facilities, and emergency services sites were hit. Sincere condolences to the families of those killed & to everyone affected. Search & rescue operations are ongoing, and unfortunately the number of casualties may still rise.

A Russian missile strike on residential buildings in Dnipro killed at least eight civilians.
A three-year-old child was among the dead.
Putin calls this "denazification."
The only reason for Russia’s overnight horrific attack against Ukraine with 656 drones and 73 missiles that killed at least 12, including children, and injured hundreds of civilians is that Putin is a war criminal and loser who has no cards except terror.
Moscow is losing on the battlefield. No number of missiles can change this.
What we can change is Russia’s ability to continue terror. I urge partners to act, not only condemn. There are concrete steps that can be taken.
First. Use the unblocked European Peace Fund to fund the PURL program and buy additional “Patriot” systems and missiles for Ukraine. Advance the anti-ballistic coalition. Increase investment in Ukraine’s long-range capabilities.
Second. Ramp up pressure on Russia through new sanctions, travel bans for combatants, the full use of frozen assets, and isolation.
Third. Take long overdue strategic steps such as opening EU negotiation clusters for Ukraine.
Terrorists in Moscow must realise that their brutal attacks won’t bring them anywhere. That the price for their regime will only increase. That the only way out for Putin is to immediately end this war.
Peace efforts will only succeed when they are backed with real pressure on Moscow.
Another horrific, barbaric missile attack on Kyiv.
The Russian army has launched dozens of missiles at residential buildings. Numerous casualties. There are fires and destruction.
What a madness. Putin continues to kill people with sadistic pleasure, simply because he enjoys it. And no one in the world can stop him.
Kyiv metro.
People are settling in for the night underground, preparing for another massive Russian attack.
Another night in the city Russia still cannot break.
Putin unleashes a massive ballistic and cruise missile barrage on Kyiv. Several residential high-rises, a hospital and a gas station hit so far. Just taking it out on Ukrainian civilians.
.@VlStarodubtsev@mayorterekhov якщо не помиляюсь у Канзас Сіті міський транспорт був безкоштовним від початку ковід-19 але за повідомленнями проїзд знову стає платним у цього літа
Zohran Mamdani’s proposal to speed up buses and make them fare-free provoked excitement and debate during his mayoral campaign. But NYC isn't the only place where there's political momentum for better buses: municipalities across the US have been eliminating fares for all riders and making strategic improvements to speed up bus service.

A Russian strike hit a playground in Kherson‼️
A mother and her two little girls, ages 3 and 6, were injured. The father is reported to have been killed‼️
‼️Odesa just now: As a result of a Russian drone attack, 8 people were injured, including 1 child. A pet store, a post office, a liquor store, and passenger vehicles were damaged. A large fire broke out. A dog died in the pet store. Emergency responders extinguished the fire. Psychologists were also on site providing support.
Ukraine is once again under attack. Drones targeted civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region, injuring at least four people. Residential buildings, a branch of @NP_official_ua, and a grocery store were damaged, and several private vehicles caught fire. In the Kherson region, a civilian motorcycle was targeted by a drone, injuring its rider. In Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, six residential buildings and a garage were damaged.

Last night & over the past day, the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kherson & Dnipropetrovsk regions sustained the heaviest losses, with at least 6 people killed and another 42 injured. In Zaporizhzhia, the number of injured following a strike on residential areas rose to 15, including an infant, while residential buildings, multiple vehicles & civilian infrastructure were damaged. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, nearly 20 attacks involving drones, artillery & aerial bombs caused damage to housing, transport & energy facilities, while in the Kharkiv region, damage was reported to power grids, warehouses & private homes.
