@hering_david Idk. I don’t need more winky, comic bull shit from this series. Army of Darkness is the weakest of the bunch. The extremity is what’s funny in 1 and 2 and I actually think Rise has a similar effect if you’re invested in what’s happening, which is hilariously grueling.

@DanielHood4 TCM 22 is awesome. So mean and maximalist. Looks pretty good too. Only thing I didn’t like is the legacy sequel tie-in but it’s easy enough to ignore.

@pourfairelevide I feel like Lynch was sensitive to what is valuable and beautiful and even necessary about the nuclear family, which is why his stories about their corruption and dissolution are so affecting. Love is the basis of his tragedies.
