Americans not wanting the vaccine is a microcosm for the lack of American interest in preventative medicine. Interestingly, regions opposed to vaccination (and often using the comorbidity argument) are very similar to regions with the greater prevalence of comorbidities.
How come we’re worried about Covid variants, yet the news is about a booster of the same vaccine and not a new one directed toward the predominant delta strain that is reducing efficacy?
What medicines/toxins can a person take just once or twice and have health complications stem from it years later? All the bad things (drugs, cigarettes, etc) I can think of either cause immediate complications or are from chronic use. This long-term argument is ridiculous
In medicine, if you ask someone something about a patient that we don’t know, I’ve noticed a lot of the time we will say a bunch of things that we DO know that don’t answer the question at all lol
You know you work too much in medicine when you leave home and feel like you’re missing something, because you don’t have the weight of a stethoscope on your shoulders
Joe Rogan was sick for 1 day and tried everything…either he was really sick or really worried. For those out there, monoclonal antibodies and steroids (when you are sick enough to need oxygen) have proven helpful, the others don’t or lack strong research
I will literally hold a door as wide open as possible so that only I have to touch the door and every single person will still touch the door anyway 🤦🏻♂️
NBA protecting its players from any unvaccinated employees…except the teammates & opposing players that share the locker room/court with them. Hopefully they’re leading up to an announcement rather than giving special treatment because they’re scared players will say no

The negative responses to Krispy Kreme offering a couple donuts to those vaccinated just goes to show how people just want something to be mad or complain about
Less than a year ago, Trump was boasting about the imminent release of an effective covid vaccine, his supporters loved it and his opposition didn’t trust it. Crazy how the results of the election completely changed so many opinions on the vaccine
I see firsthand who comes to the hospital for COVID-19 or for adverse effects of the vaccine, and I’m glad I didn’t take my chances with Covid but rather with the vaccine.
