Today, we released our fully costed election platform.
We want to give people a break.
A break from the cost of living and a break from the traditional parties who are only focused on helping their rich friends.
That’s why we’re offering change that works for working people.
Its time to give people a break. A break from the cost of living and a break from the traditional parties who are more focused on helping their rich friends instead of kitchen table issues like the price of groceries.
-Alex White, NB NDP Leader
It's unfathomable that Mr. Long has not been reprimanded by the @liberal_party for this, let alone his rumoured threats to have people on this app doxed. Saint John deserves better representation, New Brunswick deserves moral behaviour, and Canadians deserve a better class of MP!
A video circulating shows an elected MP in #SaintJohn confronting protestors who were just peacefully exercising their rights under the #CanadianCharter. It's hard to fathom, but this isn't just any encounter. This MP singled out individuals. #WayneLong#CaldnPoli@JustinTrudeau
Ed Broadbent was the leader of the @NDP when I was born. I've read about his life, his beliefs, and I've even been lucky enough to hear him speak. A pillar of support for the working class, he never lost sight of his principles. A genuine inspiration for me.
lol. lmao.
As if Higgs hasn't used the policy 713 issue to divide and distract from the terrible things he's done. Remember when he didn't give a shit about parents in education? #DataMyAss
Remember him closing hospitals? Now we have people dying in waiting rooms.
lol. Lmao
BREAKING: Higgs surplus dramatically lower in new update
The Higgs government is now projecting a $35.3-million surplus in the current fiscal year, dramatically lower than what it was predicting just months ago.

I spent much of this Remembrance Day, a day to honour those who have served in war and peace, in reflection. As we look at the world today, we must acknowledge that to truly honour those who serve and suffer, we must never glorify war, but strive always for peace. #RemembranceDay
This government’s defining legacy will be that it repeatedly blocked federal dollars from flowing to NBers.
Intercepting fed COVID assistance, delaying fed child care $, turning down fed transportation infrastructure $, hoarding transfer payments, and now blocking housing money.
And now, some celebration! It's so heartening to see workers successfully advocating for their needs, and their rights! Congrats to UAW! https://t.co/ZQh0vuQqFb
We're gonna start off with some criticism, and then some celebration!
Firstly, this is frankly, unacceptable. Ten weeks without access to an elevator? It isn't about immediate repairs, and could be moved to the summer months. https://t.co/UmZSlaTc5n
I am proud and eager to announce that as the leader of the NDP, I will be taking the fight for a more fair, equal, caring, and optimistic New Brunswick to my own home of Quispamsis. I was born and raised here, I still live here, and I will bring a positive future to my home.
So many people are paid to " have a conversation" on public-private healthcare, when in reality they are trying to normalize poor people dying from lack of access to health care.
@premierbhiggs 100% does not care about parental involvement. If he did, then the attempt to revamp education last year would have included parents. Instead, he's gone after 713 while seeming "reasonable". Next, it could be regressing our sex-ed programs. https://t.co/Nsg8L0gvDQ
Guess what? Necessities for life shouldn't be used as investments! Profit motives should be eliminated from necessities, and it's easier than you might think. https://t.co/3KoEraWZzl
