@mswiseman We do have a florescent scope, the ECHO Revolve. It’s amazing! No calcofluor so not sure what the rest of the staining is. May have over permeabilized the cell and DNA leaked out.

DAPI stain of powdery mildew conidium. Big bright spot is the nucleus and the tiny speckles mitochondrial DNA? Maybe just poor staining technique. Thoughts?
