A German soccer fan is brought to tears over how nice he’s been treated in America
He says he was afraid to come to America for the FIFA World Cup because European media portrays America as dangerous. He’s spent weeks in America and can’t believe how it’s the exact opposite
“I fall in love with this country, and this was so emotional. I even cried in the stadium”
“Following the German soccer team from Houston to Boston. Sebastian was afraid of coming over, saying that the news in Europe painted a picture of America being dangerous. But at every stop, from the moment he landed, he says everyone has treated him with kindness and respect and has not felt unsafe.”
“Americans are not rude. Germans are not rude. If we are together, we can achieve great things”
The media is the enemy of the people and it seems to be true everywhere
I looked into data and found the real problem
90%+ of the mainstream media in America is Left leaning
And in Europe, over 80%+ of their mainstream media is Left leaning
That’s the problem right there. Liberals are destroying societies with their control of the media
Fahrenheit is based on human experience:
0° is fucking cold. 100° is fucking hot.
Celsius is based on at sea level water:
Water freezes at 0° and boils at 100°
A. Celsius is flawed because water freezes and boils at different temperatures depending on altitude.
B. When I ask what the temperature is, Im asking for myself. I don’t give a fuck how water feels about the weather.
Here is a question. You think Cora didn’t want Bregman back even though Bregman loved it here? You think it was Cora who didn’t believe him that he had another offer from the Cubs? You think it was Cora who cheaped out? You think it was Cora who wants Durbin as his 3rd baseman over one of the best leaders in baseball? (Cubs 2nd best record in baseball by the way). This team is a joke but it’s been a joke for a long time and it all starts with John Henry. He won’t pay for anybody. Breslow sucks. Henry sucks. #selltheteam
Restaurant owner: “the food is awful”
Chef: “you won’t pay for good ingredients”
Restaurant owner: “why do the customers hate the food?”
Chef: “because you used to pay for good ingredients”
Restaurant owner: “you’re fired”

Ladies and gentlemen…
The 2026 Boston Red Sox
Sell the fucking team. Just do it already. Every fan fucking hates you and you've become an awful owner
Obviously never will because they make too much money, but its the dream
Hate to be that guy, but reading Bethesda deviated from the plan to make Elder Scrolls VI after Fallout 4 for... 76 and Starfield.
It stings, man. Terrible call.
Holy fuck guys we’re not "pushing hard" for or replacing concept artists with AI.
We have a team of 72 artists of which 23 are concept artists and we are hiring more. The art they create is original and I’m very proud of what they do.
I was asked explicitly about concept art and our use of Gen AI. I answered that we use it to explore things. I didn’t say we use it to develop concept art. The artists do that. And they are indeed world class artists.
We use AI tools to explore references, just like we use google and art books. At the very early ideation stages we use it as a rough outline for composition which we replace with original concept art. There is no comparison.
I talked about how we use ML here if you would like to know more:

We've hired creatives for their talent, not for their ability to do what a machine suggests, but they can experiment with these tools to make their lives easier.
I've watched The Game Awards every year for 15 years and it continues to improve. I'd give it a B.
Amazing reveals and moments drowned out by some TERRIBLE decisions toward the end.
The climactic end reveal Geoff hyped up being a hero shooter is severely tone-deaf. Could have easily ended on Old Republic.
Gacha game that didn't come out this year and shouldn't be eligible winning players choice.
Kingdom Come was my GOTY but Expedition 33 deserved it and everyone knows it.
However, I think if the jury was required to play every nominee in a category, we would have seen KCD2 win best RPG and the devs could have had their moment while E33 still won EIGHT other awards.
The awards don't have to be that serious, but giving devs moments to shine IS imo.
It's called the Hellstone. We're all ncreasingly divorced from physicality, so we wanted to build a monument for not only our international teams to gather around, but for the rest of the gaming community to rally around. We wanted people to get excited for the next big game on their list, and we wanted to do it in a way that employed skill & craft, by hand, to drive people outside to see it, and to talk about it. So many people assumed it was AI, or even a "UE5 render." Expectations are understandably low.
We saw by the reaction, however, that excitement is at an all-time high. We hope that your favourite game is announced, whatever it may be. We hope that the people making it feel empowered enough to go out and talk to you about it. We hope that the physical world still plays a large role in the adventure that is the video games industry. We at Larian will continue to invest in ways to be tangible, and present, and open with what is clearly an excited and engaged audience.
The level of skill & craftsmanship in creative spaces has never been higher, and I hope we can all make time to go out into the world and appreciate it when we see it. That physicality between the process and audience is that maintains a necessary level of mutual respect. It is very much ok to be excited about video games, and we can't wait to see you in person, when we're ready, on the road to Divinity. Oh and thanks for not setting it on fire.
