@clapifyoulikeme Everyone below a certain income threshold is entitled to legal aid. You pick a lawyer (some won't take legal aid cases) and they bill the government for time spent on the case. I think they have to justify the time they're spending and they get paid very small amounts.

@SamanthaAsumadu Blue eyes are recessive so this is perfectly possible? If mum has 2x blue eyes genes and dad has 1x blue and 1x brown a child has 50% chance of each eye colour. Also genetics are a bit complicated and weird, spontaneous mutations happen

And they don't even attempt to justify it

@McDivergence Bizarre to think that pregnancy protections were intended as a special protection for women rather than for *pregnancy*
Previous arguments I've seen here were that the law passed making all previous laws gender neutral despite wording would apply here.
