What do you do when you get out to dark skies? Well, it’s obvious, right? You capture one of the most iconic objects in the sky….The Horse Head Nebula. This is a little under three hours using the SW Esprit 100 and the ASI2600MC Pro, captured from beautiful Gecko Rock reserve.
200 minutes of data and now I’m starting to see the improvements, if the weather holds for tonight, I’ll aim for 300 minutes. As in not guiding, I’ve left my subs at 1min which is working out fairly well - I would normally push for 5 minutes when guiding!
