@Sadmachine30 @LJ2BNG @NJDevils @danbab1981 No I’m saying it’s the complete opposite. The team that originally put that player on waivers can not put a claim in for that player. Again, I’m not 100% but that would certainly make sense to me

That Utica team is buzzing right now, don’t want to pull their leading scorer for a few NHL games to then possibly lose him on waivers a couple weeks later. Other AHL clubs would love to have him.
