@StockportCounty@SportsPeteO Brilliant job heโs done at county,he wonโt be short of offers!Fresh start needed for both club and himself probably, but heโs left Stockport in a far better position than when he arrived.
@IHadTrialsOnce True, youโd see if in the opposition lineup and think youโd skin him but he had a cigar on at times. Some of the bigger lads can surprise you,Warren Aspinall at Carlisle was another level but never looked like he should be just by his build. Some player he was!
@officialcufc The right decision for all parties, thank you to Mark for stabilising the club and breaking the losing cycle we were in. Hopefully the club make the right call going forward with the new manager ๐๐ตโช๏ธ
@bootlegger1974@PintsBeauty Bought a round of Guinness last week for the lads and they were served in fosters glassesโฆthe irish lad nearly convulsed in rage ๐
@bbccumbriasport@BBCSounds When it comes to the trust,I didnโt renew this season because I didnโt feel like the fans were represented properly during the Williamson era. It felt like the trust of old, where they were too preoccupied with being โdirectorsโ of the football club.
The Club can confirm that Pete Wild and Adam Temple have left the Club following the end of their short-term contracts.
Pete and Adam joined Rovers on an interim basis as Manager and Assistant Manager in March and achieved their aim of keeping the Club in League Two.
We thank them both for their hard work in their time at the Club and wish them the best of luck for the future.ย
The process of appointing a new manager is already underway.
