Less than a week left until #Config2025, and almost a year since #Config2024!
Time really flies.
Here's a throwback to the illustrated wall of speakers I made last year.
Today I spent hours reading design stories from @Spotify , and honestly, I can't believe I hadn't done this sooner.
Sure, there are tons of other amazing design resources out there @NNgroup, @uxdesigncc, @uxplanet , … but today's experience made something clear to me:
Reading real-world stories directly from top companies like @Spotify, @Airbnb, @Uber, and … expands your thinking in ways typical UX articles can't.
Initially, I was just curious about their design system and product design process. But as I read, I found myself completely learning about small details that could impact decision-making as a product designer or a team from Spotify's team perspective.
As human designers, our real strength comes from exploring fresh perspectives, challenging our assumptions, and gaining deeper insights by seeing how successful design teams approach real challenges.
To become a better product designer, we need more than just theory and rules. We need to understand the stories behind the products, the human thinking behind tough decisions, and the lessons learned by top companies.
If you're not already learning directly from industry leaders, It's definitely time to start.
@lucas__crespo You captured it perfectly this isn’t about capability, it’s about emotional intelligence. The real design challenge is teaching AI how to read the moment.
