@ghirapurigears There was a period of time between when EDH got super popular and the first reprint of gilded lotus where this definitely felt like one of those chase cards you only put in your favorite deck. I still love jamming GL in decks where that burst to 8 or 9 matters.

@PleasantKenobi For years I played Hearthstone (before Arena got to phones) and I really enjoyed it. I fell off mostly because Arena dropped. I try the others when they come out but HS is the only other digital cards game that's hooked me.

@ghirapurigears They previewed Shadowmoors hybrid theme by showing off a pack of cards and how it was 50% hybrid or so. Really cool stuff (I'm a sucker for Shadowmoor design. Untap symbol and -1/-1 counters were so neat to me). IIRC this was in that pack. What a cool set!

I love working with high schoolers but sometimes they remind you why. We are doing "Rumors" this fall and the character Glenn Cooper is a sleazy politician. My students whipped up this campaign poster for Glenn. Absolutely hilarious. Come see Rumors when we open on November 7th.

@ZBexx I make Homestar Runner references with my drama kids and it always flies right past them (expected). The other day one of the seniors told me he likes HR stuff too and I just about passed out. it is now lore with them that he knows all my "old millennial references" hahahaha
