@stevemagness What is the women’s equivalent of a 2:01/1:59, or the mens WR and mens fastest time ever and yes I know that was very scientifically produced, I’m just curious.
@McKaleDavis @BostonMar_Pro I ran in the Elite field at NYC in 2016 (I had a PR of 2:45 at the time) and was sitting across from Gwen Jorgenson, Molly Huddle was on the bus and the current world champ at the time. Imposter syndrome was going strong 😆 GOOD LUCK!!!
@JasonFitz1 Because runners in the US will jog in circles around their mailbox to get their GPS to read 5.0 miles so racing 4.98 miles is unacceptable 😆😆😆 (yes im from the US, but I also hate any distance under 10 miles 🤣)
@hurdle1gal @fast_women so did mine but just below that in blue caps it should say “View Entire Message” and then you can read the whole thing (I also have gmail).
@SaraHall3 Haha I am 100% a forefoot runner (Makes me feel less like I’m cheating when I wear super-shoes). And yes, YEARS ago, when I was still a gymnast I tried heel striking because I thought that was ”normal” - it’s SO weird and I would never try it now 😆
@erinstrout It should be coaches at the youth/high school/club level. You have a group of kids interested in a sport, promote it. Make a big deal about meets, televised or not. I coach gymnastics and if its on tv we tell the kids and we talk about the results.
@McKirdyTrained@TCTCbayshore@hansonsrun They were a qualifier in the past - kind of weird that they wouldn’t get a sanction (assuming athletes/coaches asked about it).
