Você vem andando pela rua, mas do outro lado da calçada percebe um assalto que termina em morte.
Puxa o celular, começa a gravar o crime e ao final, entrega tudo a polícia.

Imagens, gravações, fotos, a arma encontrada na cena crime, corpo da vítima, digitais, tudo é periciado, autenticado, validado e todas as provas são expostas à imprensa e juntadas ao processo.

Mas no dia do julgamento, o criminoso senta na cadeira do juíz e vota pela sua absolvição, pela anulação de todas as provas e ainda pede a prisão do Delegado, alegando que ele não poderia investigá-lo e/ou denuncia-lo, sem a sua ciência ou permissão.

Vc não precisa ser de direita ou esquerda pra entender e se revoltar com o que está acontecendo.
Só precisa ter um cérebro!

New paper: How Good Are Frontier Models at Physics? Expert Re-Grading Reveals Broken Evaluations and Near-Saturation of Leading Benchmarks

Frontier models have tackled Navier–Stokes.

People naturally wonder, how is their capability for physical sciences? According to today’s benchmarks, frontier models still struggle with physics (e.g. 47.3% with GPT5.6-sol on Humanity Last Exam - Physics component). But that picture did not match physicists' experience using these models.

So we did a rigorous analysis of current benchmarks and re-graded their supposed failures with Yale physicists.

We found that the problem was often the benchmark and not the model !!

When corrected, the models almost saturate all benchmarks, including everyone’s favourite, Humanity Last Exam (physics-part) and Critpt. These failures in turn make AA less reliable as a measure of model’s true capability.

Something like /slow where it runs at half the speed but uses roughly half the usage. It would put less strain on OpenAI’s servers and maybe even make the 20x plan possible, right?

It’d be perfect for /goals too, just send a task before going to sleep and let it work overnight.

Advanced AI capable of scientific innovation will lead to tremendous new technology, knowledge, and understanding. This is a positive-sum future. We are deeply committed to advancing it.

Open source is the foundation for that progress.

The knowledge behind frontier AI, not just the technology itself, should be broadly distributed among researchers, academics, and organizations. Any coordinated effort by the AI industry to reduce openness or concentrate access to frontier AI would undermine that positive-sum future. We are committed to advancing a future where everyone can contribute to and benefit from AI progress.

We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.

The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.

The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
