Attempting to replay DQXI, the S version this time.
It's such a huge graphical downgrade.
That they delisted the original with denuvo still integrated... is a huge concern. I have to recommend the original be played instead of the S version, through whatever necessary means.
Okay everyone, its time for my last game to launch (on 22 April). After 40 years in the industry I love with all my heart, this is the most significant event in my life (other than the birth of my son). All I ask is for you to be curious enough to give it a try.

A difficulty of remote work. On the days the hybrids are onsite they all become totally singlethreaded and unresponsive.
Their coffeebreaks ceaseless and unending.
Finished @Expedition33 this evening. A game done in under a year from release... unheard of for me.
Never fought harder to to avoid spoilers, got taken for every hook and twist, well rewarded for the effort. Would have been half the game if I hadn't.
Exceptional soundtrack.
Finally... finally... beaten Malenia in #ELDENRING
This was the most brutal boss I've ever fought... maybe 200 deaths, all throughout refusing to summon or adapting my strategy in any way, as is the law.
Too many OHKs, too much RNG. I'm glad it's over.

Enjoyed this talk. Fun throwback at first "maybe one day we can ask this machine, what would aristotle say?"
But then goes into very relevant business focus in the Q&A e.g. 50m "the day someone working at apple can't make a difference anymore, we've lost".
Tentatively declaring insomnia "under control".
Magnesium Glycinate, Calcium, D, B1 and the magic ingredient... saffron extract. Every late afternoon.
I'm certain the saffron induces dreaming.
I got a separate sim, as having my entire life tied to a 2factor device I took everywhere started to feel like gambling every day.
Except now I'm being told by the provider that this number, with all my 2factor, is going to be reallocated to a new member for inactivity. Nice.
Coming close to the end of Bloodborne. Excellent, even at a very crusty 1080p 30fps. Don't think much of those chalice dungeons though.
Have to hope they keep making these, I worry after ER they might have drunk too deep from the open-world money well.
I need to be kept away from one-more-turn games.
Theoretically if you were to play warhammer 3 for 30 hours over 2 days, I suggest enabling the "minor faction potential" setting as Empire.
Recalling the time a director halted all work for 2 months, 4 from deadline, to wait on feedback on if version A felt different to version B.
The feedback finally come. It was confirmed. They felt different. That was it, that was all the feedback.
The stories I could tell.
Same guy, after joining, cancelled our team's weekly playtests because he didn't like his ideas being exposed to scrutiny AKA the design process.
Weak leads with no backbone, who privately express disagreement when pushed but take no action, facilitate bad actors.
