When developers push for lower standards it deepens inequality and it's the poorest who pay.
A Labour government shouldn't be making life greyer and less healthy for these communities.
Nature belongs to all of us - not just the richest.
@DanicaPriest This makes so much sense Danica, amazing work. I was in Dublin last year and reading in the paper there a textbook copy of the "we hate bat tunnels" trope, and I was thinking, where is this all coming from? This isn't about real domestic contexts - it's being pushed from above

House of Lords committee warns that the programme to build 12 new towns will not succeed “without strong central government leadership and adequate funding.” Suggesting neither is in evidence at the moment.
Endless deregulation for short-term "growth" only serves the rich and powerful.
Nature, local democracy and affordable homes come second to their profits.
We need well-planned council housing to raise living standards while cherishing not trashing nature.
