@AvicennaTA No OMs own brothers said he was begging debates from Avery. Are you not up to date? Ever since Averys last debate with him he's been on his tail lol. Keep up fam
@SeerahDawah@Rexleonum_NWA@TaymiApologia The Gospels aren't reliable but Muslims can rely on them using historical standards. What are you going to debate? "My part of the Gospels are true and the Christian part is not true"? 💀💀
@AvicennaTA@muslimorthodoxy Logic explicitly said that he wanted a 'conversation'. That's not a debate. So requesting to have a talk with someone isn't begging for debates. However, it can become a debate stylinteraction if negative emotions keep emerging and one party feels like the other is disingenuous.
@AvicennaTA@muslimorthodoxy That he was accused of begging for debates now he's tryna pass the same accusation onto someone else to relieve himself of the same reputation? Yeh sure.
@TheDeenShow Muslims will cite a hadith written about 200 years after Muhammad died as if it is good as gold, and then tell you we can’t trust the gospels written a few decades after Jesus.
@IjazTheTrini@centroFJ ... And besides, it doesn't matter if it's a 'scholarly' opinion or not. We know the reason Muslims use it. It's because you feel sensitive about Aisha's relationship.
That's not our business. You guys jump to uncomfortable verses in the Bible all the time but we explain them...
@IjazTheTrini@centroFJ Yes. Muslims DO use it as a counter argument against Christians who criticise Aisha. Following this, David Wood brought up the Al-Zutt argument because Muslims would not substantiate their point for Rebecca's age. The source is Talmudic not an opinion held popular by Christians.
@IjazTheTrini@centroFJ However the way Muslims used it was in a disrespectful manner. Saying that a prophet married a 3 year old and spreading that lie from America to Europe as a weapon is inexcusable. Now we're both at an impasse. You can't see past it and I can't see past it. Now what? Stay angry??
@IjazTheTrini@centroFJ You know this is actually how YOU Muslims read our scriptures. The Al-zutt issue started because Muslims lied about Rebecca's age. So this is the fault of Muslims.
@IjazTheTrini Psalms 37;28 The Saints are preserved forever. Relating to
Daniel 7;18
[18] But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’
@MarkoMarko82667@Kryptotajeer@muslimorthodoxy Same. I was waiting for the lie. Ibn Kathir DID explain how it was a metaphor in fact, he claims other people of the Book had a different metaphorical meaning but both definitions were "metophorical"
