Big 2026, this is the condition of Atsiekpui Alavanyo MA Primary, Akatsi South, Voter Region.
Henceforth, we stop voting for the NDC, voting wisely is key for all Voltarians
In democratic politics, accountability follows the speaker, not mere association especially when it is not a class attack [Ankamah: 2005 on collective and ultimate responsibilities].There are plethora of examples to cite, Rev. Jeremiah Wright spoke for himself, not Obama. Nadine Dorries spoke for herself, not Cameron. ANC Youth League leaders spoke for themselves, not Ramaphosa etc. Dr. Bawumia cannot answer for every statement made by any NPP member especially Abronye. A weak analogy remains weak like what we saw on Newsfile in Dr.Arthur K's traveller's tale.
SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON THE STAFFING OF THE PRESIDENCY
We expect truth and accuracy from the Presidency and its officials, not propaganda. The staffing of the Presidency is a matter of record, and it is important to put that record out there.
In my capacity as Legal Counsel to the President, one of my responsibilities was ensuring that the report on the staff of the Office of the President was submitted to Parliament timeously, as required by law. And we did so notwithstanding the propaganda of my good friend, @S_OkudzetoAblak. I worked together with the Chief of Staff's office and the President in the submission process. I therefore speak to these facts directly.
The 2023 Report being bandied about on social media was in respect of staffing at the Presidency for the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022. The staffing for the period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 was submitted in March 2024. See attached.
The record, which should be in the Presidential Archives at Jubilee House, speaks for itself:
Total staff at the Presidency:
--> 2022 Report: 995
--> 2023 Report: 1,048
--> 2024 Report: 921
Political appointees in 2023: 357, a REDUCTION of four from the previous year.
Civil and public service staff in 2023: 564, a DECREASE of 123 from the previous year. These are civil service staff (135), presidential household staff (235), and other public service staff attached to the Presidency (194). They are NOT political appointees. The President does not appoint them, and they have always been part of the staff of the Office of the President under every government.
Now, the staffing for 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 was supposed to have been submitted by THIS government in March 2025.
So the critical question is this: did this government submit the report in respect of staffing for 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024? If they did, they should provide us with the numbers as at the time President Akufo-Addo was leaving office. If they did not, then it is a serious breach of the law.
But what should concern every Ghanaian is the ballooning of the budget for the staff of THIS Presidency, even at the purported reduced numbers. This is UNPRECEDENTED!
And I have seen a post by the Minister for Government Communications, @FelixKwakyeOfo1 in response to @DennisMiracles, claiming that the salaries paid to Presidential Staffers like Dennis Miracles Aboagye were approved on 6 January 2025. Let us be accurate: while there was indeed an approval on 6 January 2025, there has been NO payment of salaries and arrears to those who served at the Presidency in the last administration. This government has deliberately refused to pay the salaries and benefits due to the former Presidential Staffers and political appointees, yet it has been paying its OWN Presidential Staffers and political appointees on the very salary adjustments done by President Akufo-Addo's government.
The stinking nature of this discrimination is that the Finance Minister, @Cassielforson, has paid himself his salary arrears and benefits as a legislator of the 8th Parliament on the new scale approved on 6 January 2025, but has refused to pay the salary arrears and benefits of the Executive.
Ghanaians deserve better than selective accounting, selective payments, and selective truth. Pay what is due. And stop the propaganda because the records do not lie, and we will keep putting them before the people.
The law is no respecter of persons. Accountability is not a partisan project; it is a constitutional duty.

It's 100% complete however the NDC doesn't want to operationalise the Facility
The Daily Graphic is a newspaper, not a government bulletin. Its job isn’t to amplify government achievements but to exercise editorial judgement and report what it considers newsworthy.
Doctors on strike affects healthcare delivery and potentially lives…that is undeniably front page news. The fact that the President is seeking investment abroad or that the Vice President is touring flood affected areas doesn’t automatically make those stories more important.
Ironically, criticising a newspaper for not acting as a government public relations outlet is a stronger indictment than the front page itself.
A free press is most valuable when it can decide what deserves prominence independently.
Mahama is the worst person to make excuses for. He’s been an MP, Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice President, and is now in his second term as President. The time for long speeches explaining the problem is over. You know what the problems are. Get to work and solve them.
Listen to what Mintah Akandoh said about the Afari Military Hospital project when he was in opposition.
Today, his own words have come back to haunt him. The same facility he once criticized has been effectively abandoned under his watch.
What an apology of an appointee.😏
