@TLRailUK Was this vend correct? I told it my travel time was at 07:00 and it still offered me an off-peak ticket despite it not being valid at the time chosen. It says I can’t travel at that time on that ticket, but it sold me the ticket anyway.
@TLRailUK I see that the ticket machine is supposed to display a message when an off-peak ticket is selected, but the one I used to purchase these tickets never did display this message. If it had, I would’ve realised prior to purchase and would have been a fault with the machine.
@TLRailUK The online ticket system wouldn’t do this (it would only offer tickets valid for the journey I input), so I’d argue it would be a reasonable expectation for your ticket machines to do the same. I bought x3 returns for the route before I realised the tickets weren’t valid. (2/2)
@TLRailUK The return is correct, the problem is that the machine asked me for the time I want to travel and it sold me a ticket that was invalid for the journey I input. I purchased three before I noticed it was selling me off-peak tickets for a peak journey. (1/2)
@TLRailUK I know, I was asking why the ticket machine vended an off-peak ticket for an on-peak journey. I know that an off-peak ticket can’t be used on this journey but the ticket machine sold it anyway.
@TLRailUK I needed to take the 16:59 from Portsmouth to Crawley but this has been cancelled as well as other alternatives but SWR services. Is there ticket acceptance for SWR trains in these circumstances?
@TLRailUK Thanks, going through Waterloo appears to be the only route unfortunately. Is there an alternative route from Waterloo to St Neots on GTR services that avoid the Underground (i.e. where ticket acceptance would be in place)?
@TLRailUK Thanks for confirming. One more thing… my new journey has me going on the Underground but my original journey didn’t. Would my ticket now be valid for a single tube journey, or is this something I’d need to claim back?
@TLRailUK I made the following journey yesterday on keyGo, but shouldn't it have been a St Neots to Royston Return rather than being split into three? Breaking my journey at Stevenage was valid because some trains that call at both don't stop at Hitchin.
@O2 I’m going to assume you don’t give a monkeys that you apparently haven’t passed that on. To be clear: you are to follow the instructions within the letter, not only is this required but also proves that you actually read the letter.
@TLRailUK Is there an ETA on when the platform 1/2 lift at Stevenage will be repaired? This is currently causing difficulties with station accessibility for me.
@TLRailUK Your online ticketing system shows the 07:48 from SNO to FPK as off-peak, is this an error? The National Rail ticket planner says the same service is on-peak. Just trying to see if I can travel SNO to SVG earlier in the day and then SVG to BCH later on an off-peak.
@virginmedia I'm trying to book an engineer visit, I know I need an engineer visit due to accidentally fubar'ing the coax going into my property but your website wants me to wait for 24 hours due to "intermittent signal".
