Earlier this year, I was looking into getting an updated diagnosis for my autism. I was referred to a clinic that gave a quote of thousands of dollars. That pretty dramatically changed my opinion on self-diagnosis.
The idea that Saigon has been called Ho Chi Minh City for decades but everyone still calls it "Saigon" was always slightly weird to me until Twitter became X and now I get it 100%.
Looked up a certain thing in God of War: Ragnarok - Valhalla and learned that I missed a lot of post-game content in base Ragnarok. Now I gotta go back, love the shit out of this game.
Been making exponential progress in God of War: Ragnarok - Valhalla. I've finally managed to trick my brain into playing one of these like an arcade game instead of like a cinematic linear epic... if this unlocks the genre for me, I'm giving Hades another shot.
By the end of God of War: Ragnarok I was starting to be kind of good at it, but I can't remember anymore. I want to see the story of Valhalla, and I like this game's combat, but I have zero patience for roguelikes.
If I were Speed Weed, I wouldn’t still be calling myself “Speed.” Motherfucker sounds like an extra-short-lived Chia Pet. Kinda glad he stuck with it though.
I wasn't paying attention at the time, so I just realized the real crazy thing about the Ridge Racer moment at E3 2006.
They're talking about a PSOne Classics release of *the very first Ridge Racer.* A beloved new PSP Ridge Racer had been out for months by that point!
At the budget level where I'd be interested in a PS5 Pro, I think I would want a dedicated Blu-ray player instead of a disc drive. Once money isn't an object, the real barrier is that PS5 doesn't have Dolby Vision. As for games, I'm transitioning away from physical media anyway.

Beat Horizon: Forbidden West. I played so much of this game that I have to give it a pass - I completed a LOT of the side content - but overall I think this one’s a huge step down. Zero Dawn didn’t need to be bigger, it needed to be less predictable.
Blood on the Clocktower is extremely friendly in many ways: you’re still playing once eliminated, everyone has a useful role, and there are drop-in and drop-out mechanics. And yet it has a huge learning curve exactly because of that.
Finally finishing Horizon: Forbidden West. Late-game combat is starting to click with me, but man, this story kinda sucks. Still love hunting grounds and salvage missions, still finding charming NPCs, still don’t care that [SPOILER] died. Only one mission to go.
