As someone (Trevor Noah) who loudly condemns ‘Racism’ in the US, It’s hard not to notice the contrast. He said nothing during the xenophobic attacks on fellow Africans in South Africa, yet is now participating in a South African government campaign promoting the country, even as concerns about the treatment of Black immigrants persist.
The other day I talked about how we moved past the era of listening to Radio, turns out that I and everyone who made that assumption were wrong.
Radio is still where grassroots conversations thrive, and culture is shaped. Radio isn’t dead, it has simply evolved, as matter of fact, radio is active on @loungefmlagos

Growing up, I knew the names of almost every presenter on Nigeria InfoPH, the time each of them came on air, the regular callers, and even the station jingles by heart. 😄
I used to keep up with football news despite having little interest in the sport because the banter, and arguments were just that entertaining. Listening to radio felt like being part of a community. #RadioIsDead
