2024 is a critical year for climate action. My good friend @johndoerr and the team at @speedandscale just published a progress report on the world's push toward net zero. See how far we've come and how far we still have to go to address the climate crisis. https://t.co/Cu3lxF2zBW

Bill Anders took this photo from the far side of the moon and changed our world.
On Christmas Day 1968, the day after this image was taken, poet Archibald MacLeish wrote: “To see the Earth as it truly is, small and blue and beautiful in that eternal silence where it floats, is to see ourselves as riders on the Earth together, brothers on that bright loveliness in the eternal cold—brothers who know now that they are truly brothers.”
The brotherhood and sisterhood inspired by Bill's photo will live on for generations. May he rest in peace.
Ciao, Italia! I’m thrilled to be in Rome, hosting our 56th @ClimateReality Leadership Training. We’ve got a busy weekend ahead as our attendees from across Southern Europe gather to gain new skills, networks, and knowledge to solve the climate crisis. Let’s get to work!
What an incredible honor to meet His Holiness @Pontifex at the Vatican. Pope Francis's leadership on the climate crisis has been an inspiration to people around the world. I am grateful to him for his efforts to communicate the dangers posed by the climate crisis and emphasize our moral duty as stewards of our planet to solve it.
How is it that one person can produce all of this?
That person lived 500 years ago — so why hasn't humanity produced another talent like him in all the time since? 🧵
