I have just finished reading Tadeusz Borowski's book "This Way for the Gas, Ladies and Gentlemen". This book is so powerful and incredibly difficult to read.
29 April 1943 | A group of 507 Poles deported by Germans from @ewarsaw (400 men & 107 women) arrived at #Auschwitz. Among them was a #poet, writer & #journalist Tadeusz #Borowski (b. 12 Nov 1922) who was registered as prisoner no. 119198. https://t.co/hXbOTNQXkO #history#poetry
The stats are shocking.
More needs to be done about ending violence against women and children. Read up on #16DaysofActivism, stand up, use your voice and support the campaign.
