A study had athletes cycle to complete exhaustion. One group was subliminally shown pictures of people smiling, the other was shown frowns.

The study found smiles enhance performance.

Don’t underestimate the influence your facial expression & body language have on performance.

A great way to evaluate your mental strength is by asking the question:

What does it take to discourage or stop me?

For mentally strong players, they’re unfazed by bad calls, distractions, pressure, how tired they are, or how much they’re losing by; it’s always the same effort.
