@ArizonaDOT It did happen though for some reason or another. Two trucks with barricades blocking the ramp and one truck with signs lit arrows➡️➡️ telling traffic to take the Freeway access road. Was there an accident on the 17? Just curious.
Timing is the thing.
1. Figuring out how likely it is he is to race
2. If there's a chance a sub is needed, figuring out if they can pull off a special session to get a veteran driver up to speed. Would likely be Saturday if so.
3. IF 2 is the option, finding said driver (Ilott, Lundqvist on the grounds)
4. Yes, if a sub is needed, 20 car is moved to 31st. Won't be behind 4,24 because those cars have no time since they were DQ'd
GREAT day at @phoenixraceway for #Indycar … much better racing than what I saw in 2018. Nothing beats #IsItMayYet but I’ll take this as a nice backup to the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
@jdouglas4 please bring 🌵🏜️ back next season!
