@edutopia I still remember how my own high school experience had all the arts stripped from it, to instead focus on preparing for college entrance exams...felt like joyful lights being turned off. Glad this data shows how important arts are to learning, in all its aspects.
I used to think that when approaching curriculum design, the key elements of who/what/whether + the standards and benchmarks would be the main starting points, now I know how important it is to also pay attention to the language we use, to reflect our intentionality. #conceptsp
