This present military/LEA leadership needs to really step up on the domestic security front. Interior Ministry, Intelligence services, police etc. It’s heartbreaking to see so many young kids getting slaughtered daily. But we should remember we live in a very nasty neighborhood right now. Peace in the Middle East is key to our own security. That’s why any suggestions that we shouldn’t be stretching ourselves in the Middle East is misguided.

Missiles and drones will not win Iran anything. If Iran was really serious about a push to liberate Palestine, it would have sent in Hezbollah storming into Northern Israel. But they haven’t. Because neither do they have the capability to do that nor do they have the intent. This entire “resistance” is a joke. Because those who understand geopolitics know that this is not about Palestine or Israel, but IRGC’s desperation to stay relevant in the Middle East. IRGC is simply using the crutches of Palestine to give it legitimacy to bomb the Middle East and specifically brotherly states.

Assessment:
Saudi Arabia did not seek this fight. Proxy drone swarms on its energy infrastructure, directed by the IRGC, left Riyadh with no clean off-ramp. The onus sits squarely on Tehran.
Repeated attacks on Jordanian bases hosting US forces further confirm the pattern: the IRGC is not probing for leverage or a face-saving deal. It is testing thresholds and accepting wider regional destruction as the price of its strategy.
A brief lull existed. Proxy and direct strikes have now closed that window. Further restraint from Riyadh or Washington only invites the next wave. De-escalation requires Iran to stop using its proxies and its own missiles as tools of coercion. Until then, the trajectory is clear.
