Why doesn't ICP need consumer marketing to reach retail?
ICP's vision is much bigger than just targeting retail investors, it won't change anything if 10,000 people buy 500 coins. ICP is aiming for adoption by big institutions and governments.
We have to understand that this will take time, especially since ICP is an infrastructure provider.
That said, I believe dApps like Caffeine and other future high-quality consumer apps built on ICP do need strong marketing to attract retail users.
Partnering with the UNDP is the best gateway to reaching governments, and Pakistan is currently the ideal proving ground for the tech. If it succeeds there, it could trigger a snowball effect across the next 5 target countries.
