Not to say that a funeral is ever easy, but the final days of life are the hard part. I’d think that a business built in our countries namesake would uphold policies inline with familial values that are respected by other airlines including @Delta and @SpiritAirlines

Sad that @AmericanAir won’t refund my ticket I cancelled to spend time with my dying grandfather. “Unless he dies in the next 15 days, we can’t help you.” I don’t know when he’s going to die - I just know it’s soon and want to spend time with him in these final days or weeks.
