Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the Russian strike on Dnipro are ongoing. A drone attack has set a warehouse building at a Nova Post terminal and vehicles on fire. Units of the State Emergency Service are working at the site, continuously extinguishing the fire. About 70 first responders and 40 police officers have been deployed, along with nearly 30 pieces of equipment. Everyone is doing their utmost. Fortunately, there are no casualties.
All these attacks must be stopped. All that’s needed is sufficient support for our defense and continued pressure on Russia. Our long-range sanctions, partners’ sanctions, and all forms of political and economic pressure on Russia must work so that real security can be achieved. Only pressure will bring about peace.
Today is Kyiv Day. Kyiv is 1,544 years old today.
It wasn’t destroyed by the Horde or the Nazis — and it won’t be by the rashists.
Kyiv stood. Kyiv stands. Kyiv will stand forever.
Thank you to Ukraine’s Defense Forces for making this possible every day.
We are trying to intercept all Russian drones, even when some of them are going in the direction of other countries, like Romania, Moldova, Poland, or the Baltic states. If we can't, we immediately notify our partners and try to help them.
Russia uses drones to pressure NATO countries and gauge the reaction. This is their typical message: Don’t help Ukraine. I think there should be a stronger response from a united NATO.
Putin is comparing this reaction to what he saw in previous years. And he is also testing air defenses of NATO countries bordering Russia or Belarus. Are they capable of intercepting all the missiles and drones?
From an interview with Face the Nation. (1/5)
The future is already on the front line – and Ukraine is building it. These are our ground robotic systems. For the first time in the history of this war, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned platforms – ground systems and drones. The occupiers surrendered, and the operation was carried out without infantry and without losses on our side.
Ratel, TerMIT, Ardal, Rys, Zmiy, Protector, Volia, and our other ground robotic systems have already carried out more than 22,000 missions on the front in just three months. In other words, lives were saved more than 22,000 times when a robot went into the most dangerous areas instead of a warrior. This is about high technology protecting the highest value – human life.
From the congratulatory address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex (2/3).
