Yes indeed - I think many share the frustration with the opaqueness of the current generation AI where we don’t understand it, and perhaps that elusive ingredient is the actual key - which may be as far away today as before LLMs.

Understanding is only a part of human capabilities though - perhaps there’s many ways to develop it, and perhaps it’s a simpler problem than finding the literal originating function of humans
