@HMRCcustomers Hello. My boss hasn’t received confirmation from HMRC regarding a tax code change since the end of April. How can he be officially notified of the change?
@HMRCcustomers Hi. I’ve received a payslip from one of my employers and noticed that my tax code has changed. I don’t know why as my employment hasn’t changed.
@SF_England I was awarded the maximum but I went from full-time to part-time. I’ve received all the money but have another year-and-a-half to go. I don’t have the money for this year’s fees.
@HMRCcustomers I’ve added £2,000 to the second employment, so hopefully that will mean no tax to pay (temporarily, I hope - I would love to earn more!). Thank you for your help, this has been the least stressful interaction with HMRC.
@HMRCcustomers Hello. I’ve received both payslips from my employers and found I’ve paid tax on one of them. I am not earning enough to pay tax, so please can you advise me on how to get the money back and not be charged again?
@HMRCcustomers I would like to increase the threshold by £2,000. It’s not likely that I’ll reach it in my first employment anyway, so would both tax codes need to be changed?
@HMRCcustomers Yes, but this varies from month to month. There were times when payments were £64.09 (Sept), and £71.41 (Jan and Feb), and it’ll be very similar for Jun, Jul, and Aug - maybe nothing due to the contract.
@HMRCcustomers Approx. £4,446 for the code 987L. The second employment isn’t straightforward as it varies dramatically month by month. I can estimate it’ll be around £1,900.
