After a 12-strikeout performance against Canisius, Alexis Lucyshyn has eclipsed 500 career strikeouts in the Blue and White!

She is just the third Bull in 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 to reach this milestone!

Lucyshyn had a fantastic weekend for the Bulls at the Cardinal Classic hosted by Incarnate Word. The fifth-year pitcher started the tournament with a complete game shutout over Prairie View A&M. In the victory, she allowed just four hits while striking out 11 batters. Her shutout moved her to solo possession in program history with her seventh career shutout. In Buffalo’s final game of the tournament on Sunday, Lucyshyn tossed a complete game in a 10-1 victory over the Lindenwood Lions. In total, she went 3-0 with 16 innings pitched, 22 strikeouts, two walks, one unearned run, an ERA of 0.00 and an opponent batting average of just .153
