It took charlie kirk dying for ya'll to start thinking critically about the political atmosphere?
Not the 45 other school shootings?
Not the black and brown people detained by ICE?
Not the hundreds of trans people losing their lives?
Not the college kids arrested for protesting?
Guns don't care about ideology.
Guns don't care about politics.
Guns don't care about religion.
Guns don't care about race.
Guns don't care.
Guns are tools built to kill. When they're easy to get, they will be used to do exactly that over and over again.
Something must change.
Let’s make one thing clear from the start: Charlie Kirk was the victim of a shooting in a country where he, along with other right-wing extremist influencers, have been inciting violence for years. — Kirk is neither a martyr nor a hero, he is a cause.
When President Clinton banned assault rifles in 1994, mass shootings dropped by 43%. After Republicans let the ban expire in 2004, they increased by 243% — please don’t tell me bans don’t work, because I don’t want to hear it.
There was just a gun shot at Charlie Kirk’s first tour stop of the year at UVU in Utah.
Students bolted and Ambulances & Cops are swarming the area.
I hope that everyone is okay.
The violence has to stop. Nobody deserves to be a victim of gun violence, including Charlie Kirk. This is disgusting and heart wrenching. I pray that Charlie is alive and makes a full recovery.
