Honestly, I think its the early volumes and the foundations. The worldbuilding just wasn’t there like now, especially with how little they utilised the school setting as a base for giving us info. It massively affects how they havw to write the story now to compensate.

@Raijin_Rising_ I actually noticed it later in the episode, when she lowers her blades after Emerald protects Cinder. You can see one side is lower than the other since one has a missing blade.

The CRWBY pulled through on the attention to detail with Penny's swords. She starts Volume 8 with 10, and after losing one, she fights with only 9 in Chapter 5.

@lastroseofrwby @OfficialRWBY They already did in the first episode. Joanna mentioned that they need to get all Mantle citizens to the Crater by nightfall, as the Crater is warm. Since she specifically mentioned a deadline, its refering to how long people have till it gets too cold in Mantle to survive.

@MurderofBirds_ Right as Volume 4 came out. I had found and binged RWBY at the start of Summer, then got into the FNDM during the months before V4. Been here ever since!
