Ms. Paige demonstrated Creativity by creating a group activity for her students that will keep them engaged in geometry (which can be a bit of a snooze fest), Agency by incorporating state standards into the activity, and Community by leaning on fellow educators for ideas #302f23
I resonate the most with constructive integration because it is the way I learn the best. Being able to take my learning into my own hands and manipulate items to see the real-time consequences of decisions, I retain the most information. #302f23
@BardroffThomas I like how you mentioned that you want to be mindful of how complicated lessons can be! I think it's important to remember that when you teach in a K-12 setting, this is their first time encountering the material, even if you think that some content is a given.
TPK - I could utilize TPK by integratingQuizizz into my lesson plans because I know that game-type practice helps with knowledge retention
TCK - By choosing to deliver content via a game of class jeopardy, I would do so based on the content of the week and class need

CK - An example of using CK would be teaching students about the dairy industry, a field that I am already knowledgeable of.
TK - I would use TK in the classroom by utilizing YouTube, Netflix, or other content streaming platforms to share videos with the class.

PK - I would use PK to generate a lesson plan that is aligned with that weeks goals.
PCK - I would utilize PCK by making lesson plans based off of knowledge that I already posess (the dairy industry, WV agriculture, etc.)

My name is Alexis, I come from a farming background in WV but currently live in Savannah, GA. I'm looking forward to advancing my education so I can step into a job in higher education eventually. My fun fact is that I have been a certified welder for 6 years! #302f23
