6th World Cup I’ll witness 😭
I’ve watched the FIRST goal of every tournament since 2006:
2006: Philipp Lahm 🇩🇪
2010: Siphiwe Tshabalala 🇿🇦
2014: Marcelo (OG) 🇧🇷
2018: Yury Gazinsky 🇷🇺
2022: Enner Valencia 🇪🇨
2026: ??
My guess: Raúl Jiménez 🇲🇽

Gentlemen, when someone misbehaves, do not react so angrily that your response overshadows the initial misbehaviour and now becomes the issue.
Don’t end up being the one needing to apologise when you were initially the victim of bad behaviour.
Be clear that you will not accept or tolerate the misbehaviour, but be measured in how you express your disapproval. This is especially important when you are in a position of authority over the other person. It is also especially important in your relationship with your woman.
I am Ezemmuo. I know things.
Parents, this is for you. Read till the end. Very important. 📌
If you don't want your children to become lazy later in life, teach them these five rules, especially number 4 and 5.
Rule number one: Don't let them stay in bed all morning. Even during holidays and weekends, teach them to wake up early. Because waking up early trains the mind and body to stay active, sharp, and productive throughout the day.
Children who grow up sleeping half the day away often struggle with discipline and challenges of life in the future.
Number two: Stop cleaning every mess they create. If they scatter toys, let them pack them up. If they dirty their room, make them clean it. Children who never clean after themselves slowly develop a mindset that someone else will always fix their problems. Responsibility starts with small, daily habits at home.
Number three: Don't take schoolwork lightly. Check their assignments and ensure completion. Correct careless behavior. Teach them to finish what they start.
Children who are held accountable academically often become more focused, disciplined, and serious about life.
Number four: Teach them to work with their hands. Don't let screens raise your children. Bring them into the kitchen. Let them help cook, wash, organize, and assist at home.
Children who learn how to create become more responsible than children who only sit and consume entertainment all day.
Number five: Let them try different skills early. Expose them to drawing, fixing things, music, sports, reading, public speaking, or creative activities. Because children often discover their talents by trying many things first.
The more useful skills they learn early, the more confident, capable, and hardworking they become later in life.
Raise your children with love, but also be firm with them, don't raise them to become weak, helpless adults.
I have looked at this list again, and all I will say is timing matters a lot in football.
Haaland scored 27 goals and 8 assists in the league, about 38 goals and 9 assists in all competitions, won 2 domestic trophies, yet he’s not even the favourite.
Part of it is because we’re already used to Haaland-level numbers, but those periods of drought really damaged the perception of his season. He had about 20 goals before January. If he had scored those same 20 goals from January till now instead, he’s probably walking away with the award comfortably.
That’s how football works sometimes. Momentum shapes narratives more than anything
People remember how you finish seasons more than how you start them. If Haaland was exploding during the title run-in, scoring every week in the biggest moments, the conversation around him would feel completely different even if the final numbers stayed exactly the same.
Form close to awards season always hits harder psychologically.
It’s why players that peak late suddenly feel unstoppable while players that started the season on fire can become normalized by the end. With Haaland, his standards are now so ridiculous too that 38 goals almost feels like he didn’t have a good season.
Flip Bruno’s form to beginning of the season and he won’t be favorite for the award. Narratives and timing are what decides award.
If any other striker pull this Haaland’s number in the league, they will also be favorites. Narratives. Timing.
